We are grateful for every gift. The generosity of our supporters, both churches and individuals has enabled us to carry on with our commitment to our work with families.
A gift of…
- £74 will provide a child’s nursery place for a day
- £50 will provide a young mum/mum-to-be with a home starter pack, including bedding, towels, cooking/kitchen equipment
- £45 will help us fund a bursary for an hours’ counselling session
- £35 will help us to provide a mother with food or basics while she is struggling to access benefits
- £20 will fund a one to one support and mentoring session for a young mum
- £15 will enable us to fund a healthy cooking session for a young mum, teaching her valuable skills which will benefit her and her baby
- £10 will enable us to provide an essential hygiene pack to each resident at the point of move in
Fundraiser
I’m taking on the 24 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Christian Family Concern, which is currently rebranding as Birdhurst Family – rooted and grounded in love.
I’ll be trekking for 12 hours each day, covering around 28 miles over the weekend – with around 12,500ft of total ascent, the 24 Peaks challenge is one of the UK’s most demanding adventures. Apparently once you’ve completed the classic 3 Peaks, then this has to be the next challenge.
